God I love my friends
I had a particularly icky day today. It started off rather nice and slow, pretty chill and then it was determined that I had to go cover a Little League thing for someone. Friend: I think this sentence was written in your honor: "Literature and coffee: such sweet, sweet dependencies."
Me: Aww!! Who wrote that?
Friend: It's a description of a used book store in San Francisco.
Me: That's adorable.
Friend: I thought you might enjoy it.
Me: I did. Is it awful that i felt like a little girl and someone was complimenting me?
Friend: (laughs) Awww!

I hate/love finding that I missed a new book being released into a series I like. Its a love/hate thing because of reasons:
money, no matter what, I will have to spend money on this
work, the job i need to keep me in money also prohibits me from reading at my leisure
time, the stuff I don’t have enough of in a day
Mostly, the problem is that I WANT TO READ THE FECKING BOOK NOW NOT LATER...

5) read
6) get a giant cup of coffee and read
7) read
8) buy new books to read
9) find a comfy chair and read
10) read
Can you sense a pattern emerging?
